Joel Svensson – Doug Raney

I want to write some words about Doug Raney. He is the son of the guitarist Jimmy Raney who played with Stan Getz among others.

Doug is one of the best Jazzguitarists ever, and he has the best sound also.

Doug often play Gibsonguitars and polytone-amp.

I’ve seen him with Ibanez-guitars also but he’s main model is some kind of Gibson

He got some albums on the Danish label “Steeplechase” that is totally awesome.
